At the beginning of the 1990s, even before Cinecittà (Roma) existed, it was Bovisa, that hosted the first Italian attempts to approach the film industry with studios that produced silent feature films.
The Politecnico of Milan has obtained from the City of Milan the opportunity to detach some departments and campuses in the heart of the neighborhood.
There is the Design system to the East and Engineering to the West. Slowly the district has been repopulated by young people, foreign students and young people who wanted to live their university life, in addition to classrooms, spaces to have fun and to express their creativity.
It is connected by lines S1, S2, S3, S4, S12 and S13, regional lines and Malpensa Express: Bovisa FN station. It is also connected by tram 90/91.

Affori is on the outskirts of Milan but has somewhat maintained the feeling of the small town (as it was before the war).

From the area of Affori, it is easy to reach the Bicocca village. This area is growing a lot in recent years, being a university area is very populated by young people and locals as well.
